 On June 2nd, 2008, lead teachers and students attended a celebration in their honour at the Lake Laurentian Conservation site, for their leadership in conservation initiatives throughout the 2007/2008 school year.
In recognition of their hard work & achievements, the Director of Education, Catherine McCullough, awarded certificates to each school for their participation. Mr. Gerald Laforest from Union Gas Limited and Mr. Eric Foster from the Dearness Environmental Society, were also recognized for their participation in the successful delivery of the Dearness Program throguhout all Sudbury Catholic Schools this year.
The SCS are now in their 8th year of the DC program delivery. |
